On May 17th, Rock Bottom Christian Ministries hosted its first baptismal celebration! 10 individuals felt led to express their commitment and belief in Jesus! Family and friends gathered to affirm God’s grace at work within these individuals! To witness the work of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of these was a blessing! Jesus is King!
There were 4 men, 2 women, and 4 children who chose to partake in the sacrament of baptism on this day. Kenny was one of these men who was blessed by four of his grandchildren who chose to put their faith in Christ and be baptized along his side! Kenny is setting a great example as he seeks God. This moment will be cherished by him and us forever!
Dina, whom the ministry has known for nearly three years, made the decision to be baptized as well. She told us, “Nothing is going to stop me from being baptized.” Dina’s powerful testimony displays the transformational work of the Holy Spirit. We have seen such a change in her heart and mind over these past few years. Amen!
Before the ceremony took place, those in participation met May 3rd, to discuss the sacrament of baptism and pray. In celebration, on May 17th, there were 60 in attendance. It was a day of fellowship as we broke bread and celebrated together! The day was beautiful! Glory to Christ!
